On second thought... Here is a little tip that might help you save even a little more cash on invitations. Instead of sending the RSVP cards, do a phone RSVP. On the bottom of the invitation put RSVP by whatever date, to say your maid of honor and her phone number. That means that instead of every invitation needing two stamps you have cut it down by 50%. Thats alot of savings. And since those RSVP cards are blank, but match your wedding theme and color you now can use those RSVP cards for place markers (if you are doing a sit down wedding), you can use them to mark tables by names e.g Smith Table (if you are doing assigned seating), or you can use them as open faced thank you cards for you wedding gifts since they are already accompanied by envelopes. So you end up saving money on stamps, place markers, and/or thank you cards.
