About Me...
Ever since I can remember I have been the "Betty Crocker" or some version of that name to other people. My mother was able to stay home with us and she really got us involved in all her creations. I guess that is where my love for craft began. I just have always loved to be crafty. Being hands-on and creating fun easy projects that look great is definately in my top five.
So, naturally when I got married I just had to do it all. I really didn't know too much at the time, since I had never done a wedding before, but I had some know how and major determination. From the hours I spend rolling silverware in pink napkins to the DAYS yes days that I spent hand making pink roses for my cake I enjoyed every minute... Even when the flowers were not delivered on time...ugh!! Since we were paying for the wedding ourselves, I was naturally on a tight budget. However, I wanted a classy beautiful wedding without pulling out all the stops. So, I started my hunt. I looked for discounted every thing, and you wouldn't believe what I found! You can really find wonderful deals on just about anything you need for your wedding. My wedding was such a sucess, people were so impressed that I did it all, that it made me realize that I could help other people as well. Pretty soon friends and friends of friends were calling me to make their cakes, help with flowers, favors, arrangement ideas, seasonal colors, just about all their needs. People seemed to be seriously getting into the do-it-yourself spirit. So, I thought why not share my knowledge with others, not that I can necessarily help "hands on" but maybe I will inspire you to get "hands-on" and elbows deep. So the best of luck to you.
